Track Camp 2015
 
Monday-Saturday
Grades 3-8 (upcoming grade)
June 22 - 26, 9 am to 12 pm

A camp designed for every young Track & Field athlete from beginners to elite and experienced athletes.  Instruction will emphasize proper biomechanics for running as well as event specific technique.  Campers will learn by watching and more importantly learn by doing.  There will also be instruction in meet day strategies, nutrition, hydration, and care and prevention of common injuries.  The Camp will be directed by Clarksburg HS Head Track & Field Coach, Scott Mathias and Kennedy HS Head Track & Field Coach, Kevin Monroe.  Between them, they have guided athletes to earning hundreds of Montgomery County and Maryland State championship medals, multiple college scholarships, and dozens of  All-County & All-Met awards.  In addition to the camp directors, campers will also have the opportunity to learn from current & former college Track & Field athletes.


F.A.S.T Speed & Strength Development -2015

CSA F.A.S.T. Speed & Strength Development Program (FAST = Force-Acceleration-Strength-Technique)  A training program for athletes of any age and any ability level.  This program consists of 12 training sessions that will help ALL athletes for ANY sport get Faster, Stronger, and more efficient.  “Improving SPEED & CORE STRENGTH will do more for athletes than any other factors within that individual’s control”
