Little League Baseball and Softball NOW AVAILABLE for Clarksburg Families!
Clarksburg Sports Association Baseball was started back in 2006 to provide an opportunity to players that wanted to learn the game of baseball.  Our overall goal remains the same today - to provide players the chance to learn the fundamentals of baseball in a safe, positive and fun manner.  Even with a new name (Montgomery County Little League of Maryland, Inc. - MCLL) and our transition to Little League, those ideals have not changed.

The overall goal of Montgomery County Little League of Maryland, Inc. (MCLL) is to provide players the chance to learn the fundamentals of baseball/softball in a safe, positive and fun manner.  Each season provides another opportunity for that player to improve not just their baseball/softball skills but also other lifelong skills such as teamwork, good sportsmanship and work ethic.  It should also always be a rewarding experience for each player.

Registration is open.  Closes Aug 16th.

The Fall season runs from Sep 8th - Oct 31st.  Games will start after Labor Day, either on Tuesday, September 8 or Saturday, September 12 and will end by Halloween, Saturday October 31.

The Fall season is for Boys and Girls but only includes tee-ball and baseball. There is no softball offered in the Fall.

Fall has a developmental focus and is an opportunity for many to try the next higher division of play.  Note: Players who move up from Minors to play Majors in the Fall must still be evaluated and drafted into Majors in the upcoming Spring 2016 season. Only players that played Majors in Spring 2015 are guaranteed to play Majors in Spring 2016.  Players are drafted into Majors as individuals, not as a team.

If you aren't sure whether moving up in the Fall is for your child, ask your Spring coach for advice. If you are new to MCLL or you have questions about the correct level to register, feel free to contact our player agent Jason Arnold at

Complete uniforms are provided to all players.

Due to our reliance on the granting of permits by Montgomery County we cannot set schedules concretely in advance.

Players Age Restrictions:

Players are eligible to play various divisions based on their league age.  Little League is changing its age determination from a cutoff date of Apr 30th to Dec 31st.  Which date to use is dependent on your child's age.  Use this age calculator to determine your child's league age.
  • Baseball: Born before prior to Jan 1, 2006. Player's age as of April 30, 2015 is their league age
  • Baseball: Born on or after Jan 1, 2006. Player's age as of Dec 31, 2015 is their league age

In order to be eligible to play in Montgomery County Little League, players must either reside within the area of the boundary map or attend an accredited school within that area (MCPS or private schools but not home-schooled) unless they already have been granted an exception. Please review the boundary map or the listing of MCPS schools to verify that you are eligible.

Online Player Registration is available. Once the registration form has been completed, you will be asked to review and accept the Parent Contract. The Parent Contract documents our expectations of behavior by parents and players participating in the league.
Thank you for selecting MCLL and good luck in the upcoming season!

Your coach will be your main contact with the league once the season gets under way but you can always contact either the specific division Commissioner or the Board of Directors of MCLL if you have any questions or comments along the way. We encourage any suggestions that you may have so please feel free to send an email. We also are always looking for volunteers to assist in various league functions or tasks that need to be completed.

If you would like to be either a head coach or an assistant coach of a team during the Player Registration process you will also be asked if you want to coach.

Team sponsor fees also help to keep the player registration fees down so if you know of a business or other contact that may be willing to sponsor a team, please contact your coach or   with the name and other information so we may contact them.

Parents, players and coaches need to be aware of the Maryland law regarding concussions. Included in the Parent's Contract is the disclosure that you have read the information provided regarding concussions and that you will discuss that material with your child so that they may also become aware of the potential issue. Coaches will also need to receive additional training of how to recognize and what to do in case a player shows symptoms of a concussion while participating in recreational sports. See the Concussion Info page for more information about concussions.
